Day 299: practicing gratitude

Looking for good things, things to be grateful for, can sometimes be hard, but the action of it feels good. Sort of like gentle stretches to loosen overly tight muscles.

Good things from today:

  • hope: news that might make for a nice weekend coming up
  • comfort: clean sheets
  • kindness: did dishes for overly tired boy child

A useful trick – if you’re struggling to find something good in your day, make something good happen yourself. ☺️
