Iโ€™m going to take a little blogging hiatus while I gather my thoughts and rest my brain a little too. ย ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ค

    1. Thanks Anne! Your support has been so important to me. On one particularly bad day you wrote โ€œplease donโ€™t disappear.โ€ And that line stuck with me. I thought of the people who do disappear and vowed not to be one of them.

  3. Congratulations jen!
One year is such an accomplishment. Especially when navigated with honesty, mindfulness, and self-reflection as you have so clearly done.
I include this link to Lotta Dann’s post on soberversaries. I have read other bloggers – and also felt myself – that the one year mark was quiet, introspective, a little tender, and even a little bit rattling… where to from here? Along with being filled with joy and real pride too!
I like your new year’s post with the goal of nurturing yourself, your life, your acheivements of this past year with gentleness, care, and humor.
Take good care and Happy New Year!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks for this! I think Lotta is awesome and had not seen this particular post. I agree that the one year mark comes with mixed emotions. And itโ€™s a comfort to hear this isnโ€™t the end of the evolution. I feel pretty content with how things are, but there is still a bit of a loss for me. I definitely donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve got everything completely sorted yet.
Happy new year to you Deb!
